Places of Welcome
We have recently been accepted into the Places of Welcome network. For more details, see www.placesofwelcome.org.uk
We now have the Community Orchard in the area at the back of Church.
The date of the next working party is yet to be set - due to coronavirus, it may be a while before the next one.
It is not expected or compulsory that anyone stays for the whole session when it is on; any help available is welcomed.
New volunteers very welcome to join in between 10.30 a.m. and noon.
This is an ongoing project with opportunity to help in the future too.
If you are interested in helping, please contact David Wilkins through the Church Office.
The next meeting will be arranged when the Coronavirus situation has changed.
If you like knitting or crochet, please come and join us, knitting items for the Shoebox Appeal and The Belarus Fund. New members are always welcome.
Can’t knit? - we will teach you!
Just want some company? Come along for a natter!

Our knitting group have been busy preparing boxes for the 2019 appeal. 59 boxes were delivered to the local depot ready for despatch. Thanks to all who made this possible through donations (financial or products).
There is a video which shows the children’s reaction when they receive their box - the excitement and reaction is phenomenal; makes the efforts from all the people here worthwhile. Click here to see the video.
