Christmas Tree Light Switch on
We are delighted to announce there will be a tree again at the junction of Osborne Street and Yew Tree Drive - provided in conjunction with Stockport MBC. The event will start at 6:30 pm on 21st November and during first half hour the lights will be switched on and carols will be sung. Thn back to Church for mulled wine (or juice if you prefer) and mince pies.
We now have the Community Orchard in the area at the back of Church.
The date of the next working party is yet to be set.
It is not expected or compulsory that anyone stays for the whole session when it is on; any help available is welcomed.
New volunteers very welcome to join in between 10.30 a.m. and noon.
This is an ongoing project with opportunity to help in the future too.

Our knitting group have been busy preparing boxes for the 2019 appeal. We have just delivered 59 boxes to the local depot ready for despatch. Thanks to all who made this possible through donations financial or products).
